How it works

Pay from your wallet.
Install in one tap.

Satello orders prepaid travel eSIMs for you and lets you pay in USDG on Robinhood Chain. Here's exactly what happens to your money and your data, step by step.

  1. 1

    Choose a plan

Pick a country, Europe or the Global plan. Each plan lists its data, validity and total price in US dollars.

  2. 2

    Pay into the contract

Enter the email address your eSIM should go to, connect a wallet and pay in USDG, or in ETH that is swapped to USDG in the same transaction. The payment goes into our public checkout contract.

  3. 3

    Install and go

Usually within a couple of minutes, your order page shows the QR code and the manual codes, with a one-tap Install button on iPhone and Android when available. The eSIM is also emailed to you.

The guarantee

Paid on delivery, enforced by code

The checkout contract is a small public program on Robinhood Chain. It holds every payment in escrow and follows three rules that no one at Satello can change for an order once it's paid.

  • Your payment is held, not sent to us
USDG sits in the contract under your order number.
  • We're paid only after delivery
Once your eSIM is delivered, the contract releases the payment to Satello's operating wallet.
  • No delivery in 30 minutes? Take it back
The Reclaim button on your order page returns the full amount to the wallet that paid.
  • Escrowed money only goes two ways
Back to the wallet that paid, or to Satello after delivery. The contract has no withdraw function.
Who decides that an eSIM was delivered?

Our server, once Cryptorefills has issued your eSIM and your order page shows the install codes. That step can't be checked by the blockchain itself, which is why the 30-minute reclaim exists: if we don't deliver, you don't depend on us to get your money back. If the order fails, we refund you automatically.

Who issues my eSIM?

Cryptorefills (cryptorefills.com), a store for gift cards, phone recharges and eSIMs paid in crypto, running since 2018. When you pay, Satello buys the eSIM from Cryptorefills on your behalf and in your name, using the email address you gave, and pays Cryptorefills itself. The eSIM is issued under Cryptorefills' terms and runs on local partner networks. Satello handles the order and the crypto payment.

How are prices set?

The price is Cryptorefills' price for the eSIM plus our service fee, shown as one total. The checkout shows the breakdown before you pay. It's usually still cheaper than Airalo for the same data and validity. There's no account fee and no subscription. The only extra is the Robinhood Chain network fee, usually a few cents, paid by your wallet.

What happens when I pay with ETH?

The contract swaps just enough ETH for the exact USDG price through Uniswap on Robinhood Chain, in the same transaction. Any ETH not needed is sent straight back to you.

What do you know about me?

Your email address, your wallet address, your order and your eSIM's details. We share your email address with Cryptorefills only to place your order and deliver your eSIM. We also keep your approximate country, from your IP address, for fraud prevention and tax records. No account, no card. Read the privacy policy.

Can I check all this myself?

Yes. The contract's source code is published and verified on the Robinhood Chain explorer, and every payment, delivery and refund appears on the proof page.
