$SATELLO token disclosure

The $SATELLO token – version of 4 October 2026.

This page describes what the $SATELLO token does, what it doesn't do and the risks involved. It is information, not an invitation to buy. You don't need $SATELLO to use Satello: every eSIM data plan can be bought in USDG.

What $SATELLO is

$SATELLO is a crypto-asset (a token) on the Robinhood Chain blockchain. Its contract address will be published on the token page (satello.io/token) at launch; any other address claiming to be $SATELLO is not ours. Satello issues it as a utility token: its only purpose is to give access to the Satello service, through which customers order eSIM data plans and pay for them in crypto.

What it does

  • Satello cards. The $SATELLO held by the paying wallet when it requests a quote decides which Satello card applies to the order: Plus (5% off the price), Premium (10% off) or Metal (Cryptorefills' price plus 0.10 USD, with no service fee). The thresholds are published on the Satello cards page (satello.io/cards).
  • Payment. If paying in $SATELLO is offered at checkout, the share of $SATELLO burned, meaning permanently removed from circulation, is stated in the quote before you pay.

We may change the card thresholds, the card discounts or the share burned, or stop accepting $SATELLO as payment. Any change applies only to quotes made after it is published on the site; it never affects an order already paid.

What it isn't

  • It isn't a share, a bond or any other financial instrument. It gives no right to revenue, profits, dividends, interest or votes, and no claim on Satello or its operator.
  • Nobody promises you a profit or a value. We don't promise to buy back tokens, support the price or provide liquidity.
  • It isn't electronic money or a stablecoin, and Satello doesn't redeem it for money.
  • It isn't an investment product. Don't acquire it expecting a financial return.
  • Satello doesn't provide crypto-asset services to anyone: no exchange, custody, transfer on behalf of others, or investment advice. Any trading of $SATELLO on decentralised exchanges happens between users, on venues Satello doesn't operate or control.

Regulatory status in the European Union

Regulation (EU) 2023/1114 on markets in crypto-assets ("MiCA") sets rules for offering crypto-assets to the public in the EU. Under its article 4(3)(c), Title II of MiCA (which includes the obligation to draw up and publish a crypto-asset white paper) does not apply to offers to the public where "the offer concerns a utility token providing access to a good or service that exists or is in operation". MiCA defines a utility token as "a type of crypto-asset that is only intended to provide access to a good or a service supplied by its issuer" (article 3(1)(9)).

The Satello service has been open to the public since 4 October 2026. $SATELLO is introduced only at its launch, after the store opened, and its only use is access to that service. For that reason, no crypto-asset white paper has been drawn up or notified to any authority, and $SATELLO is not approved or supervised by the French Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) or any other authority. The protections MiCA attaches to offers covered by Title II, such as the 14-day right of withdrawal for retail holders under its article 13, therefore don't apply.

Risks

  • Loss of value. The price of $SATELLO can move sharply and can fall to zero. There may be no buyer when you want to sell.
  • Loss of utility. The Satello service may change, be suspended or end. The token could then lose its use.
  • Technical risk. Smart contracts can contain bugs or be exploited; blockchains can suffer outages, congestion or other incidents. Robinhood Chain is a recent network.
  • Wallet risk. If you lose your keys or recovery phrase, you lose your tokens. Blockchain transactions can't be reversed. Beware of scams and impersonation: we'll never ask for your recovery phrase.
  • Regulatory risk. Rules on crypto-assets are changing. An authority could take a different view of the token's status, and the token or some of its features could be restricted in some countries.
  • Tax. You're responsible for declaring and paying any tax due on your own crypto-asset transactions.

Where it is available

$SATELLO and its features are not offered where that would be unlawful. Check the laws of your country before acquiring or using it. The Satello service isn't available to people or entities subject to international sanctions.
